Everything was great. Especially the staff. Komang is an outstanding cook. And everyone was friendly and helpful. My only problem was the room they gave me was discribed as having AC. It did not. I might suggest they correct that for future clientel.

Hello Mark, thank you so much for your nice comment, it seems you liked your stay in Puri Mangga...Concerning your critics: Sorry, I checked the description, yes on the official website there is an air con mentionned, but if I go to the "intern website for Hotels" there was a note "equipped with fan..." Anyway I changed it and we have to wait a bit until it is in public...We hope to see you again, all the best from Hans and the Puri Mangga Family....So it would have been no problem, if you informed the staf and they would have givven you another room or villa.

Property was a little out of Lovina Beach, but was only a 5min car ride away. Lunch and dinning options were limited at the resort, so if you didnt like the available options, this meant you were heading into Lovina Beach or beyond to find a restaurant that had a wider menu range.

Hans and Melli are possibly the best hosts we have encountered on our recent stay at this majestic resort. From the reception to our checkout it was faultless and every request we made was done seamlessly. Time was our only limit as we wish we could have stayed longer, but the resort was fully booked. That alone says it all. 5 star from s.

It is a quite nice place but too many flaws. Location is very remote. The very unpleasant going up and down very steep road literally only fit 1 car ( you need a car that strong enough to drive here). The staff are nice. Bedroom is ok clean some wall paint is chipping. I am not a big fan of the decoration. Too many painting and sculpture hanging. I feel like i am sleeping and being watch (not sure if this is some sort of tradition), definitely not my cup of tea. The bathroom only flush 1 time then we have to wait for good 10 minutes, maybe more, to flushed the 2nd time. I don't know for sure but, seems like we are the only guest there. When we are about to check out, the lobby is dark, pitch black (yes it is early in the morning since we are going for the early dolphin tour). Originally we want to come back to the hotel after our boat tour. But because of the condition of road getting there is hard to pass and kind of dangerous. we change our mind. If you like quiet and remote place. This is a good choice.

Hello and thank you for your comment, which is in some parts not allright.Let me expalin:The road: There were trucks coming when we built our resort. So why had trucks no problem to drive down heavy loaded, but some small tourist vehicles have big problems if I understand your critics right??? On our website there is a description of the location Puri Mangga is and how to get there...So after talking to my manager, she told me you came @ 8pm and left at 5 am. On the 15th August it was the only day we had only a few guests the rest of the months is quite occupied, but early in the morning )they were sleeping at 5 in the morning. I wonder why you didn't order an early breakfast. We serve it often, no problem.Decoration: When we built the hotel, we didn't want to create an average villa you will find in every average hotel in the world. We created a mix outside Toscanny style and inside kind of Balinese style or at least some Indonesian style, so the guests can feel they are on Bali. All our furnitures are handmade from teak wood and the paintings are from Balinese and Indonesian artists All our other guests and we don't see any problem on contrary. All of them like it. And plus, if you book a room, you saw the pics on the booking site or on our website, there is from almost every villa inside and outside a photo and you could have seen what kind of rooms you can expect. So I wonder why you did book a room, where you see the pics before and you see it is not your style and then you are complaining about about the decoration. That makes no sense for us...Problems with the paint in your room: I also can't see, last November and shortly before the boarders of Indonesia opened again we did renovate all the buildings..And again coming back to the road, I was there also beginning of the year and I couldn't see any problems. You are really one out of three or four people who were complaining about it. And by the way... we have a shuttle for free during the day, our drivers could have brought you down to the dolphin boats and up again and you have to pay nothing. It is just the way to ask... When you arrived, our girls who are welcoming you explain exactly what to do and what are the possibilities.We had for a long time (more than 2 years), even we were open no guests at all, April this year it started slowly again and we are really happy about it and then we see your comment. Normally we don't answer so detailed, but we wanted that our futire guests have the possibility to read our answer to get a good and objective impression about Puri Mangga. Sorry that you didn't like our place, but at least 98% of all the others love it... And you have been there less than 9 hours so we hope the rest of your holidays on Bali were ok. The hotel was set in a very peaceful location in the hills overlooking rice paddies and open countryside. The villas were dotted around the gardens and it was a very Relaxing environment.

It's a very calm resort remotely located in a hilly village area of Lovina with a beautiful sea view and sunset point.. This is an ideal location for someone looking for calm and private place for retreat.. The staff's hospitality was amazing.

Arrived midnight. It had been raining. Viewed 2 rooms both were leaking in the roof. The 3rd one had a terrible blocked view compared to first 2 rooms. In the morning, woken by a loud wailing sound. I never came here to be disturbed. Management were great when I told them in morning I’m leaving. There is no way I’m staying. Management did not charge me. Arranged for a car to take me to The Lovina, a nearby hotel. Management allowed me to call Expedia customer service for help. Management of this hotel listened to me. For this management, I give 4 stars! Thank you for listening and responding positively to my complaint. You make me confident to recommend you and rate you highly, regardless of my experience.

Dear Guest, thank you for your comment. There are just some things I would like to mention. As you arrived quite late, there was a misunderstanding with the security, the superior room you booked, there was a leak, yes. We had a heavy wind plus incerdible much of rain, so one of the tiles got loose, this infected also the room besides the one, what he showed you also. It was repaired the next days, by the way. Then he gave you a deluxe villa as a free upgrade with a really nice view and this view is not at all blocked as you wrote. In the morning, there was a Hindu ceremony, they were praying because of a cremation which took place 2 hours later. As you are from India and you have nearly the same religion, you should understand that. It is not every day, but sometimes there is a "loud wailing sound". you are in a different country with different customs and traditions... As foreigners we all have to accept it. Ok, you booked for 2 nights, you left our resort after one night incl. brakfast and you refused to pay that night plus the other one you booked. Our management did everything to make your leaving as easy as possible for you not to spoil your holidays. So it is fair enough to give us 4 stars... I was there also in that period and I was talking again with my manager, so this is the quintessence of our discussion. Best regards

What an absolute hidden gem in the North of Bali. Set high on a hill with views that stretch as far as the eyes can see. We had the pleasure of staying 2 wonderful nights. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly.
