Perfect location, the owners don't speak English but happy to help with anything and do so with a smile.

Santa Cecilia is OK
Posted 1 Jan 2018 on HotelsIt is close to town centre (0.4km). Plenty places to eat and drink.
Plenty to see, La Recoleta is worth the climb. Excellent place (2,800m) to acclimatise before La Paz etc. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and bread rolls with butter and jam and tea or coffee.

Worth to stay
Posted 15 Dec 2017 on HotelsB&B Santa Cecilia is a family owned B&B. People are friendly and helpful. 3km from bus terminal (20 B's by taxi). 10 mins walk to city center and walkable to spots. Hot shower. Simple breakfast (bread, tea, coffee and juice).

The Owner was extremely helpful. Very nice atmosph

Pros: Lovey and delightful staff.
Cons: Breakfast was just bread and jam with I stand coffee and juice. Serving eggs and regular coffee instead of instant coffee would be a big improvement.
Location: Was to get anywhere in Sucre on foot.
My only complaint was that my lovely room didn't have hot water. The owner said he would check it out. My room was lovely and the grounds are delightful.
The owners daughter has a new travel agency across the street, I'm sure it was an mistake because they are new and told me my tour would involve 3
hours of walking but it ended up taking 6 1/2 hours which is too much for one day. They also said I could take pictures of the local people with no problem, but that was wrong because the guide had to ask permission and they usually said no.

Cheerful B&B near the city center
Posted 31 Jan 2017
Pros: I liked the location. It is close to the market and parks. The room was comfortable.
Cons: They don't take credit cards, only cash.
Location: The location is great. There are restaurants nearby. There are several parks in this area.
The room is cheerful with lots of windows and light. It was very clean. Nice outdoor area. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Could be better
Posted 1 Jan 2017 on HotelsProperty owners were completely unaware of my Hotel.com reservation! The room I reserved was not the one described on Hotel.com. However, the owners were very nice and accommodating. Room was next to street - very noisy. B&B breakfast provided was poor. In one week stay, I never had my room cleaned. The shower drain was always plugging up. I would not recommend....better options available.

Best B&B in Bolivia!
Posted 2 Jun 2016 on HotelsWe arrived at 8am, after the overnight bus from la Paz, and were immediately shown to our room and offered breakfast! Our lovely host the returned to us an hour later to say there was now a better room ready for us on the first floor. Throughout our stay out hosts were lovely, even assisting us at 7am to book a taxi to Potosi avoiding the road blocks! The best little B&B we've ever stayed in!

Great place but poor wifi
Posted 6 Apr 2015The owners were lovely and really helpful. There wasn't a staffed reception area so sometimes we couldn't get hold of someone for information but tourist info in town can help. Wifi was terrible-no connection anywhere in the hotel but they said we could use their laptop. Would definitely stay here again-lovely place overall.
