I liked the closeness of the property to restaurants and stores. The hotel was nice and staff were friendly. The bathroom was super small as was the shower. Our room had a musty smell. The bed was really comfy tho.

Great hotel

we booked this hotel for our family's visit including grandparents in their 80s. upon request, the rooms were perfectly ready for their convenience (e.g. bathroom with support facilities) and they were quite satisfied with the quality of services so we are happy too :)

Good for overnight stay, but nothing more

Quite appropriate hotel for overnight stay. Rooms are relatively small, bathrooms even more, however they are clean. The hotel is old and will need some renovation in the near future. Good wifi. Tasteful breakfast, in the same restaurant they have some snacks and pizzas in the afternoon/evening.

Nothing fancy but straight-forward

My first time at Mercure, and I liked it. Hotel is nicely located within a short walking distance from Gerlingen town centre. Room is functional, but a bit warm. It seemed the aircon was not working, but the window could be opened. The bed was ok. In the bathroom there was a smell of "dry floor drain" that did not go away although I tried. Self-parking in the hotel yard was easy. Breakfast was the usual, nothing to complain.

Disappointing

Quick check in, not made clear that I had already paid for breakfast though, so did not have it the next day. Tv remote didn’t not work in room, but has a decent restaurant

Best value for money hotel in the area.

I regularly stay in the region west of Stuttgart and the Mercure Gerlingen is my preferred choice based on value for money for the room / location. More modern than many of the other hotels in the area. Free water/Soft drinks in the room fridge. Good restaurant. Pity the TV has no watchable English language channels.
