Absolutely Fabulous
Posted 24 Apr 2024 on HotelsWe loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside.
Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea.
Spotlessly clean and tidy.
Lovely grounds too.
Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns.
Plenty of local walks too.
The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks.
All in all, an excellent place to stay.

Beautiful cottage in Oakridge Lynch

Owners went out of their way and on arrival there were milk, coffee, tea, cookies and all the essentials for cooking.
Logs and everything required for the log burner there too.
Plenty of information available too about things to do locally and further afield as well as directions in and around the village.
We only stayed three nights but would love to go back for a longer stay.

This beautiful little cottage was so cosy and quiet. The surroundings of the vicarage are stunning.
The cottage has absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Vida was so helpful during my stay. I really hope to visit again in the future.
