Comfortable and well located near center of Stresa
Posted 10 Jul 2017I would recommend this place to a friend going to Stresa. A comfortable apartment, well located and relatively reasonable price.
One important point is that the checkin is at Hotel Meeting one block down the street. If one does not know this one would have trouble. Expedia should do a better job of making this clear and I think Villa Maurice or Hotel Meeting should send an email explaining this to everyone who makes a reservation. That is my only criticism.

Posted 3 May 2011We stayed in a suite for a couple of nights with our 2 children. The Villa is a few minutes walk from the main hotel (it wasn't obvious from the address / the details on booking that this is actually owned by Hotel Meeting, and that's where you need to go to get keys!).
Hotel suite was really nicely decorated although only let down by a few small pieces that were unfinished - bit of plaster on the wall / area taped up folliwng removal of something?... this let place down a little but overall really nice conversion and ideal for families being a large area (called suite but really size of 1 bed appart) with main room with kitchenette / dining table / sofa bed (very good size), seperate bedroom and then good sized bathroom,
Location was idal, being 5 mins walk to Stresa central town area / then few minutes further to the lake shore. Convenient for all amenities and good dining / bar options. Overall, highy recommend!

Posizione centrale con supermercati e stazione vicina.
Prese elettriche non ben posizionate per il microonde ed il bollitore.

Déception par rapport à l'annonce
Posted 3 Nov 2019 on HotelsAccueil standard, sans beaucoup de détail ( code wifi oublié, pas de détails sur le parking normalement associé à la location)
Chambre très grande et agréable. accès à la salle de bain par une des chambres.
insonorisation inexistante, réveillés toute la nuit par les scooters et le train qui passe juste à coté.
il n'y a pas de parking spécifique comme présenté dans l'annonce, il faut se garer dans la rue ( ou notre voiture a été visitée...)
petit déjeuner classique, produits assez industriels
check out comme le check in, sans aucun échange particulier.
l'emplacement est par contre très favorable, à coté des rues commercantes et du centre ville

nous avons séjourné 2 nuits
vaut bien 3 étoiles ; le personnel est sympathique et l'emplacement parfait; bref je recommande vivement
