Stayed 2 nights. Location good. Room had very creaky bed, impossible to sleep on, and shower that sprayed water out of the back of the hose. Reception changed room without fuss for second night. Expensive for what it was, especially breakfast which was a buffet, not very high quality. Also surprised to pay high tariff for parking as hotel guests!

Beautiful location, very walkable from the train station and to the old town where the historic sights are. It’s a modern hotel, very clean m, and the staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our visit, the only caveat I’d say is to try to return from sightseeing before dark- since it’s dark by 7 pm at this time of year (early October) , it was a dark stroll coming in from town after dinner and the hotel grounds are not lighted after dark.

The advert said parking was £7.50 a day. When we got here, the sign in the car park told us to pay via the ACPOA app, which cost £10.20 for a day. Reception told us that had we paid via them, it would face cost £8! Why was there no sign in the park? An annoying start! The keyless entry system in your app was pointless as you need a key card for the elevator and room lights! The building was fine but looking a bit tired and dated.

The hotel was very convenient and only a short walk into the town, we was happy with the parking arrangements onsite at the hotel although you do have to pay. If you was arriving by train the station was just a short walk away and so was Morrisons. We chose not to have the additional cost breakfast as we are not early eaters and i dont like packaged uht milk so would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to store real milk and our water. We would definitely stay again at the hotel.

A very short walk from the train station. Lovely space with great staff who were really helpful. About a 15 min walk from the RSC through the main part of town.

Great quiet hotel in a good location
Great quiet hotel set in gardens. The place is about 5 minutes from the cente of the town but away from the noise of the center. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Staff were friendly. The room was large, very clean and included a desck, a sitting area, wardrobes and side tables. The tea tray was basic but did the job. The bathroom was smallish but big enough for us. The shower was hot and strong but a little too close to the wall to get fully under. Parking was 8.50 A great stay

Good, but…
The room was OK but small and with roof eaves so head space was restricted. No fridge in the room and as ever these days the soaps etc are pinned to the wall so useless if having a bath. Breakfast was very good

We had to ring reception every day to get the air conditioning turned up. The bath plug was not working so we had to stand in the cold water (the following morning) from the shower we had the previous evening. We requested twice the contrast be turned up on the TV picture to dark. This was never accomplished! Lighting from the main road entrance to the hotel needs to be installed. Possibly H&S issue. Staff were great. Lovely grounds. Hope you find this feedback useful. Kind regards Mr&Mrs G McCarthy

Hotel vlean and tidy. Rooms good with all amenities. Service in restaurant abit hit and miss but food quality was good. Ideal location for City Centre. Parking good with survalance.
