"Before we arrived, we knew that this motel was being predominately used as emergency housing (this wasn't the case when we booked mid 2023) however the motel manager did everything possible to honour all the bookings for this weekend in spite of the situation she found herself in. "Though old, nicely refurbished overall, quiet & no intrusive lighting at night. Peaceful. Warm. Overall clean. Spacious, good parking. However, the rubbish bin had previous guests rubbish still in it when we arrived, making us question overall cleanliness. The paring knife had been used for drugs (burnt tip as when "spotting") which makes you wonder what had gone on in the unit prior to our stay. "We stayed in the rear units and the noise from the bathroom extract fan and air con was excessive. Parking on site is limited and street parking gets full very quickly. Pool was dirty and had plasters on ground outside of pool."
