This was a great hotel with friendly staff. Our triple room was clean and floor plan was practical with shower area and bathroom being separate. Breakfast spread was great with fresh bread and yummy croissants every day. There was a paid parking closeby so it was good to leave the car and walk everywhere. Cathedral and Petite France were only 10 minute walk. Will stay here again if we travel to Strasbourg.

L’Hotel de L’Ill is exceptional value for the price. It’s very close to most places you may wish to visit in Strasbourg. It’s location is less than a minute from the river and the promenade which runs along this side of the river. The staff are friendly and welcoming and will try to accommodate you as far as it is reasonably possible.
We would strongly recommend this hotel.

A well run family establishment
Posted 10 Sep 2022 on HotelsVery friendly family run establishment. 5 minutes away from the cathedral, meters away from the quai des Bateliers. The staff was very kind and accomodating. I would stay there again in the future rather than at bigger hotel chains.

Posted 17 Jul 2020 on HotelsVery friendly staff. Helpful. Everything was extremely clean and the hoteliers followed all COVID prevention measures. Our room was small but comfortable. The hotel is in a nice, quiet location close to many restaurants and about 3 minute walk from a parking garage (about €20/night) and 5-7 minute walk from the cathedral.
