It was a terrible choice of a hotel for us. We asked for a quiet room only to be put on a floor with a very noisy group booking and underneath the restaurant. Late into the evening there was scraping of the chairs and walking in high heels right above our heads, music. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night as even though we were told that the noise would stop at 23:00 it still continued. When we asked again why this was so, we were told that obviously there was tidying up after the last service and the noise would possibly go on for a couple of more hours. When we said if we could change in the morning, we were told that the available room might be sold to another customer and we would be stuck with the room just below the restaurant for the rest of the stay. The housekeeping is very poor. The floor was not wiped once for the whole duration of our stay. There is no real lounge, lobby. If a large group arrives and you are in the small area with comfortable lounge chairs by the entrance of the building, you are surrounded by luggage and people shoulder to shoulder. I would recommend that you choose a different Marriott in town. This is a very poor standard for a Marriott hotel.

You can park for free behind the property or use the underground parking garage. Pharmacy next door. Entrance is better in back than the long ramp in front. Staff speak English. Very nice property. Very modern technology in room. Push button shower head! Large tv on wall. Fluffy but firm mattress. USB ports on wall next to bed.

Very mediocre hotel

Honestly this is a very mediocre hotel. The worst thing about this hotel is the breakfast . My husband and I are vegetarian and we really struggled here. There is only three types of serial and basic bread as an option. There were salad present but when we found small pieces of ham had fallen into the salad ( I guess from the rest of guest using it ). There are around 7 staff present in the tiny breakfast area constantly “cleaning” or “filling” the breakfast up- it was very off putting to have them present right next to you throughout the breakfast. We complained to the manager and we’re reassured the next day we will have more Option. However this did not happen. The room was also badly designed with sharply edged chairs and furnitures . It was not a relaxing experience and there are far better hotels in Strasbourg that we will Opt for the next time we stay

Nice and new but compact rooms.

This is a nice new hotel conveniently located near the Salle Erasme venue. Rooms are very compact with the bathroom integrated into the room layout (e.g., vanity sink in the middle of the room) and there is virtually no privacy using the shower and the commode. There is a frosted glass wall and door that separates these areas but again, virtually no privacy so this hotel is perfect for the solo traveler or couple that does not need inter-privacy. Staff was wonderful.
