Efforts in revitalization of the property were evident. This propoerty was selected for the location near some museums. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast selection was very nice.

Just an average hotel. The place looks dated and dark. The hotel and the room were clean, but looked as if they had seen better days. The staff looked the same. One front desk person in particular seemed unwilling to help when we asked for assistance with the thermostat. He stopped at is and it request for assistance. Cynical person. We only needed a place to sleep for one night. For the price, I guess we should not complain. It was “adequate”.

Our room was very warm when we arrived, the thermostat read 76*, we were unable to sleep at that temperature, but our air conditioner didn't work either- the knob was broken off and had no way to turn on. We were just told to crack a window (which had no screen).

Need to have shower chair availability for those with disabilities. Not just a commode chair. They arent expensive and can be purchased online to make the stay better

Love these small, mom & pop kind of places and this was no exception. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Location was good - close to town, but not so close that we were constantly battling the massive number of people and vehicles in town for the fall colors. If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter, super-modern chain hotel with no character, this may not be for you. However, I personally enjoy the smaller motels and inns with character, where the person at the front desk is the owner and probably lives on site. Just an all-around pleasant place to stay and would highly recommend!

Stuff is falling apart here. Room was fairly clean but very dusty - so basic not even tissues (Kleenex). Toilet was loose when you sat on it. Windows should have been replaced about 20 years ago as they had permanent spots all over them. Very noisy from attached restaurant on Friday night from loud ouside music. Spend a little more and stay elsewhere. There are only 2 restaurant options in walking distance and one of them is in the gas station next door. Driving into town for eating can have a lot if traffic and finding parking. Unfriendly staff. Asked for upper floor room to Will who checked me in but he said all rooms are quiet and would not even attempt to change my 1st floor room when checking in.
