Wonderful rustic venue

It is very quaint and oldy world. Surfaces a bit sticky generally but staff very kind and helpful.

Quirky guest house
Posted 27 Feb 2019 on HotelsWe stayed here as we were going into the national park the next day. It is not a fancy hotel but very clean and comfortable. Quite a quirky place. Bed was extremely helpful and friendly. Places to eat close by. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. I was not a fan of the tiles on the bathroom floor but that is just my opinion. The balcony looking out over the mountains was wonderful as is the setting for breakfast. Storms River is a small town so don't expect 5 star luxury but a pleasant experience all the same

A great base for adventures in the national park
Posted 15 Apr 2018 on HotelsRight in the middle of Storms River, surrounded by the national forest, this is a perfect base for whatever level of adventure you have in mind. The room was basic, but clean, spacious and with some nice touches to make it homey. Plus a nice patio to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was excellent.

I am sorry that you felt insecure/threatened having one of our garden staff working outside your room during the afternoon, and that due to being fully booked we could not move you to an upstairs room.
We are fortunate that we live in an area with minimal crime, but we do have burglar bars on all windows in the rooms as a precaution.
I trust you managed to enjoy the rest of your holiday in our wonderful country...

Unique guesthouse hotel.
Posted 13 Feb 2017 on HotelsThis was a wonderful hotel experience essentially because we were looked after and treated so well. The building ids extremely comfortable and had fine facilities of which we could not fully use due to our short stay.

Lovely stay
Posted 24 Jan 2016 on HotelsLovely place, nice room, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed having tea on the terrace and a good breakfast overlooking the little pool. Very convenient for visiting tsitsikamma and our hosts gave great recommendations for hikes there.
