Great location

Pros: Our room and the location
Cons: Careful checking of reservations made through agencies.
Location: Lots of places and attractions to visit in this beautiful area.
On check-in the room we had booked was not available but we were shown to a very pleasant garden bungalow. We enjoyed dinner on the first night and breakfast each morning was good.
The guest house is in the village and close to all the Tsitsikamma attractions which we were able to explore.

Garden setting
Posted 2 Aug 2017
Pros: The setting.
Cons: The room could do with improvements. More heating and better ventilation together with an upgrade of the electrical outlets.
Location: Close to Tsitsikamma National Park.
The lodge was set in a garden setting, a little back from main road leading from the N2. There is a small restaurant where breakfast is served and a substantial evening meal can be obtained.
As we visited in the winter, we found the room to be somewhat cold and damp which was not fully offset by the small stand-alone heater. Electric blankets were provided but I will a little perturbed by the amount of extension leads being used.
A recent storm had brought down a large tree in front of our accommodation. This hadn't hit the room but repairs to the connecting path and wall were being carried out while we were in residence.
The owners were helpful and courteous and the home cooked meals reasonably priced and filling

Location: Highlight would be Storm Rivers Mouth, loads for everyone to do.
It was extremely hot when we arrived and it was so pleasant to go into the room to find it refreshingly cool. Good breakfast .Very good local( and further afield )knowledge from Winneray, really helped us planning the next leg of our holiday.
