Be aware that cars are not allowed in the old town, do you will have to drag your bags on cobblestone to get to the hotel. I was initially given a room on the top floor that felt like I was in an attic. Slanted ceilings, and the room was much smaller and nothing like the ones in the online pictures. I asked for a different room and was told they were full booked for the night and that the next night they would have other rooms. The next day I asked again and was given a different room and this time it looked like the pictures. I must say that I am dissatisfied with the fact that I was not compensated in anyway for the box they put me in the first night. The coffee at breakfast was good, but the actual breakfast was disappointing. Nothing looked appetizing to me.

Dear Leila, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience which I'm sure will be helpful for other travellers. Firstly, it is indeed correct that motorized traffic is not allowed in our street except between 6-11 AM. Outside of these hours, taxis should drop you off down the street, 150m away. We agree that the cobblestones are a bother, but we hope you feel it's worth it being right in the heart of Stockholm. As we are in Old Town, the building itself has historic value and no two rooms are the same. This makes it hard to provide pictures that are suitable for all rooms, but we do our best to give an accurate depiction. We appreciate you mentioning this and will see if we can improve it. We do make sure to always mention the size of the smallest room in a category in order to create realistic expectations. We are also sorry to hear you did not find the breakfast appetizing. If you have any specifics as to what you think caused this, we would be happy to receive your feedback. Even though you enjoyed the coffee, we would prefer you'd appreciated all of the breakfast in order to get a good start of your day, of course!

A wonderful place to stay near the old town of Stockholm. We really enjoyed the property and it's location!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lady Hamilton. The hotel is in the heart of the old city, located right outside the Royal Palace. The area is super walkable with tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. The hotel was adorable and quaint, as well as very clean. All members of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful! We truly felt at home during our stay and cannot recommend it here enough!

This is in the center of Gamla Stan. We got a corner room and it’s pretty big. We were there early May and weather was warm so we had the windows open. With the windows open, it was a little lou, early evening so I had to use ear plugs. The hotel is like a little museum, so cute. The receptionists are all very nice and helpful. I love the location of this hotel, cleanliness, size of room, breakfast, and staff and moderately priced 👍
