We arrived to property late it evening and it was raining. We got into room and went straight to be only to be kept awake by combination of loud AC unit and periodic sound of rushing water in the wall that shook the wall and bed.
I visited the front desk to ask for a new room only to be told that it did not need to worry about water coming into the room is it was “normal”. I said it was extremely loud and actually vibrating the wall, only to be told that’s how it was this time of year in all the rooms.
In the morning the food was very limited and ended at 9am.
I booked this room because the hotel has an overall rating of 8.5, but that rating was very deceptive. There are lots of other options in this area and I would recommend looking at another facility, especially if rain is in the forecast.

Staff was friendly. Musty smell in the elevator.

I love the area the staff overall great! The breakfast could use some grits and cheese for the eggs

Everything was nice only I couldn’t sit that heater or AC unit. It didn’t have buttons or knobs to turn the lady at the front desk was charging $100 deposit cash. I’ve never done that before. Guess she was hoping I forgot and didn’t check out and just walked out, that was super weird

Ac units are controlled by a thermostat on wall. It is hotel policy for 100.00 deposit if you live within 50 miles of hotel or pay cash

I didnt get her name but, the customer service representative with dreads in her hair was great. The location was good. It was close to food, shopping and entertainment. The hotel was a little dated, but clean and the breakfast was decent.
