There is a lot of trash and equipment sitting outside on the sidewalk. The lady at the front desk did not speak English very well and was hard to understand. We did not feel safe as people are hanging around outside and the place just appears "trashy".

So, let's be honest, this is the lowest price option in Wis Rapids for a reason. it's a rundown place that needs a rebuild. But, everything was clean, the beds and linens were comfortable. We had a problem opening a window and they were prompt in responding. They also loaned us a fork to eat our carry-out. We were there for the waterski show tournament and just needed a place to sleep. While all the other hotels price-gauge, this place remains cheap, and was available at the last minute.

We stayed one night here. It was fine. The place is old, so we didn't expect it to be in like-new condition. We appreciated that guests were assigned rooms apart from each other, not crowded right next door. This provided a quieter night, because guests were distanced several rooms from each other.

Every night, I walked into my room, and it reeked of cigarettes. I talked to the front desk about changing my room.And they refused, so I asked for a refund, and they told me no no refunds. And then he told me if you want a refund, call the cops.

It was easy to check in. He moved me from a second floor roon to first so i didn't have to lug my suitcase up the stairs. Clean room
