The place is great - but very large - we were on the wing furthest away from Gondola Square - so quite a walk to get to the ski area - fortunately there is ski storage right at the mountain base so no need to carry all the gear. Great spot overall.

We love staying at the Steamboat Grand! The location is fantastic to walk to the mountain and village, and we love the pool options and rooms are great. Only downside is having to pay extra for parking, and we haven’t really thought that the restaurant is that great, but plenty of great food options in the village or downtown. Have stayed for two years in a row now and will likely be back next year!

Great location for skiing! Complimentary coffee only until 7am each morning which is silly. Front desk staff okay - housekeeping staff excellent. Rooms need updating but public areas of hotel were great.

Found what appears to be a mouse chip on the dining table. Also found some suspicious white stains on a maroon chair in room 621. Finally there was a long brown hair on top of the toilet. It was pretty gross.

Went for the weekend with my fiancé, get to hotel, no one to help greet, or help with bags which is totally fine. Paid for valet service, which I had to go and retrieve my car multiple times because they were too “busy”. The hotel room was nice, until we drew a bath and the water was yellow/green and looked like pee dirty water. Once we saw that, we started the sink and the water was the same there. We brought it to their attention bc I work in the same industry and they claimed it was bc the pipes haven’t been run in a while which seemed crazy. They offered to refund some for the nights and upon checking out, nothing was compensated and they claimed that housekeeping cleaned the pipes. But we missed out of two nights bc of dirty water in the bath and sink. And lack of help with valet and bell service for a high end hotel was disappointing for our first time in steamboat. For the price of the hotel. Look elsewhere

I had an issue with the staff member working when I was checking out at 7am on 2/20. He never asked may I help you, he made me stand there forever until someone else arrived. He was incredibly unfriendly and should not be in customer service.
