"We were looking for a 2 bedroom stay for us, our teenage daughter, and our 10 month old. Roomzzz came up asa 2 bed apartment option, which suited our needs perfectly. We were very impressed with the hotel; apartment was spacious and very clean, and we will absolutley stay here again if in Leeds. "

"The apartment was okay for a couple of nights, useful kitchen facilities and a powerful hot shower. Free coffee and croissants was good (although nothing to put on the croissants?). However, the bathroom STANK of old cigarette smoke which we were worried about sticking to our clothes. Also more than one chair for a double room would be good! "

"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."

"Fantastic venue however check in details could be clearer. We were Storr in front of job centre for ages trying to contact people, not realising it was around the back."

"Good location with parking, slight issue with the parking as you are given an allocated spot but upon arrival there was a vehicle already parked in the spot, quick phone call and instructions given to park elsewhere which was fine. Entry door system was hit and miss, didn’t work upon arrival but then on return did the same thing but it worked. Stayed in a 2 bedroom but only one bathroom so if you were not from the same family it might cause a few issues. "

"Lovely little property located in a quaint village:) Staff members were super friendly on arrival and the whole check in/out process was smooth. The property has a lot of charm but needs a little tlc. The bathroom is basic and shower not great but the rest of the facilities in the room were good. The bed was a little on the hard side and very squeaky. Overall a good stay and for what we paid we were happy :) thank you x"

"The apartment was spotlessly clean, with comfy seating, and everything we needed for cooking. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Location is perfect, and even though it's on a busy road, we didn't really hear noise from the road."

"A wonderful and comfortable spacious apartment in a brilliant position. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you could ask for. A bonus with having its own garage too. The host was very helpful and instructions were easy to follow. "

"Cold, heating didnt work, microwave didnt work, didnt even provide shower gel/ shampoo, pretty tatty property down a back street. Probably the worst place ive stayed of 20 or sp recent stays in Leeds. "

"50 stairs separate the loft from street level but the view is great. Nice views from all the windows except the one that opens onto the roof, which you might expect. The apartment isn't for tall people though and above 5'8" might be a little cramped. My wife and i now know how Quasimodo got his hump. That said I would not hold it against the nicely laid out apartment with its exposed 300 year old wood beams. A lovely place to stay right in the heart of the old city and immersed in history. Easy...

"Excellent stay. Property was exactly as advertised. Owner gave great communication about location of property, check in and parking with pictures included. Appartment was clean and had everything I needed. Nice little apartment in a busy area, with a supermarket, convenience shop and a few takeaways within a 5 minute walk. Bus stop just outside. Would book again."

We picked a garden view room which was worth it as the view was fantastic to wake up to. Nice bar and (depending on which time of year you go) ‘Thors tipi’ located in the grounds, gave a lovely Xmas vibe. Came a few years ago and the hotel has benefited massively from the refurb. "Very happy with the location and the view over the river and York from our room. Within easy walking distance of the centre with excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. Service attentive but unobtrusive. Lifts efficient with little waiting required - important since we were on the top floor. Would certainly choose it were we to0 return to stay in York.."

Perfect night away!

"Perfect location, easy check in, lovely staff. Bar was priced as you’d expect a hotel bar but service was exceptional. Room was very clean, well laid out, view of the river and castle. Would definitely stay again Remember, this does day parking available, the Shambles car park is not far away at all though "

"Parking is always a concern but with a large secure NCP very close by i felt ok. The staff were polite and exremely helpful. Room was good with a great mattress, a good nights sleep with blackout curtains. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. Thankyou Malmaison we will book again."
