We love the character of the Hotel Chester. The location is convenient, and parking was no problem on the street. We had a view of the main street. It was nice to be able to regulate the temperature. The bathroom, though tiny, was just fine. In-room coffee is fine, but it's weak if you follow the instructions. Breakfast is a "grab-and-go bag" that includes water, raisins,
granola bar, and Rice Krispy treat, but there were also bagged pastries available. Our only complaint was that the mattress was hard, overly firm, so our backs hurt. Otherwise, we recommend Hotel Chester. Personnel are all friendly and helpful.

Extremely rude owner, blamed me for card machine problem. Have used card without any issue anywhere. And then began swearing at me. DO NOT STAY HERE.
