"Mateo was excellent in communicating with me before coming over because I was going to be late. Siriana and Maria Laura were all so helpful during my whole stay and made my stay very pleasant throughout the 5 days I stayed at Bastione Spasimo, I would only suggest that the cleaning staff would clean the bathroom floor every day."

"My sister and I spent two nights at the Bellaroto and had a lovely time. Room was light and bright and very clean. In a fantastic location in the historic area within walking distance to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Our host, Michele, was charming and gave us some great tips for restaurants and sights to see. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again on a future visit! "

"The inn is centrally located and just a few minutes to many major sights and great restaurants. Our room was clean and very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay at Palermo Historica. Paolo was friendly and responded quickly to all of our questions before during our stay. He was very helpful, provided good advice on what to see, and also arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station. "

"I loved this place. Great breakfast. Clean room. Wonderful terrace for enjoying a glass of wine. Quick walk to many places and lots of great food nearby. 8 minute walk to the grocery store. Short walk to the bus to the airpprt. They were so patient with our delayed arrival. "

"The room itself was beautiful and very clean with an amazing shower and great air conditioning. The problem was that it was extremely loud at night. We requested a quiet room not facing the street but were put in a room where you could hear partying all night long on the streets. "We really enjoyed our stay. The host Rosi is very friendly and helpful. The building itself is full of history and characters. Our room is at the lower ground floor which has its own entrance. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The facilities in the room is prefect. The location is very central and close to every attraction. It is so easy to get there from the airport by the airport shuttle bus. We would definitely recommend this place in Palermo!! "

"This was the perfect place to stay for my first trip to Palermo. The location was walking distance to the best attractions, shopping, and restaurants in the city center. The staff were welcoming and helpful in every regard. The room included a wonderful breakfast which was a great way to begin each day. " We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"

"This hotel was a fantastic find! In the heart of Palermo within walking distance to almost everything you would want to see or do. Short walk to the bus/train station for day trips or excursions. Elevator was accessible. Room was large and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of shopping and eating just steps outside of the door. Perfect location. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip."
