Perfect really apart from late breakfast time

Posted 15 Jul 2024 on Hotelsfriendly and helpful staff, bedroom was clean and adequate for a short stay if a bit noisy as it overlooked the main road. We had some bathroom issues in that there was no hot water to the basin or bath (there was a shower) plus the toilet seat was in need of replacement however issues are bound to occur in this trade and its how you deal with them, this was dealt with financially and very quickly. The menu was limited but the food was excellent, breakfast was also very good, no continental option though. A lot of effort has gone into the "pub" side of things, if the care and attention carries on into the accommodation then this will be a winner.

Really quaint country pub set in beautiful surroundings. Staff were great very attentive and the food was fabulous would highly recommend if you want a really quiet stay.
