"Lots of instruction from the owner on how to get in and maintain the property etc. Property is very spacious and well maintained and has a beautiful view. Excellent communication from the owner too. Maybe would have liked to see some basics supplied such as tea and long life milk. Also as a tall person i hit my head on light fittings a few times, as well as the angled walls. Overall an excellent property."

"The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Its location was very good (i.e. next to the Watergate Bay beach and the southwest costal walk path). The check in process was very straightforward. The only draw back is the weak WiFi signal in the apartment, particularly when four of us were using WiFi at the same time. "The hotel sits in about the best location in Newquay, overlooking the town and the sea. The hotel itself is an imposing older building and is absolutely gorgeous inside, the room I had was a great size with a very comfortable bed. All the staff are very friendly and amazing with nothing too much trouble for them to sort out. This is the first time I've stayed here but it won't be the last."

"I had booked a room for the wrong night but reception staff were very efficient and sorted this out very promptly. Our room was so cosy with chalet style decor, refreshments and good quality bathroom products. The bed was King size and really comfortable. The room was warm and quiet. We had dinner there but were disappointed. Service at the bar was slow, menu offerings standard, and the food was served lukewarm. Such a shame! Will definitely come back for the accommodation!"
