There were great activities available for the kids. The beach was kept very clean. The food portions were great and were delicious. Overall a great stay!

Surprising poor restaurant. Highly touted by the servers who seemed very proud but the food just did not back up the hype. One of the worst risottos I’ve ever tasted served with an overly cooked piece of grouper on the first night, followed by an 8 oz fillet the next night, which was average at best. The fillet was served at room temperature and there was literally nothing compelling about the flavor or the texture despite being butchered and aged in house. Very disappointing atmosphere as well with canned Christmas music at a very loud level which was just simply annoying. I asked for the music to be turned down twice and was ignored. The Lobby also had very loud piano music which at first seemed nice but after the 3rd night — we just avoided the lobby altogether. Also at the pool, the same canned Christmas music ( sans any vocals) played relentlessly through-out the day. Drove us crazy. Impossible to read a book. Never fear - we just went to the Beach where we lounged on the provided beach chairs via the Resort Fee. Of note, Beach Umbrellas are an extra $30 PER DAY - and are not included in the Resort Fee— which is another annoying side note to an otherwise decent property overall. The details are what stuck with me though - as noted above .

Sand Pearl Resort was excellent for my entire family! Clean, friendly, accommodating! We will be back! Loved it

this resort deservers its five-star rating. Just absolutely beautiful inside and out. The entire staff from the valets to the door greeters make you feel welcome. Check in was a breeze. Our room was lovely. Entire place was very clean. We ate out at the Salty Crab, but you really do not have to leave the property for dinning.
