The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. The hotel’s 3rd floor smells musty like an old home.

Loved the old classic charm. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and for me the location was perfect. That you for a wonderful stay. I wish I had been able to stay around the property more instead of being so busy.

Nice antique hotel with modern updates. Water and coffee and tea available until late evening.

We stayed in room 319. Room was cosy and reasonably well appointed, althoughthere was a distinct lack of mirrors, no bedside lamp on one side. Bathroom was cramped.
The hotel was once a historic building. One the ground floor the dining room was spacious and the breakfast offering very good. They use proper plates and cutlery unlike a lot of hotels.
A good selection of hot and cold food on offer.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Pool outside was good but located right next to a busy junction, so at times very noisy.
Stays automatically qualify for their friends and family loyalty awards, so the next stay gets you better rates and a free room upgrade if booked direct.
Would stay again

It’s an old building and we enjoyed learning its history. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is nice each morning.
