I’d like to start with what we loved; the free shuttle was nice and we got to explore downtown pier. We enjoyed RumFish Grill, great service and good food. We also appreciated an early check in. Our tropical view actually gave us a somewhat view to the water and sunset sky. The rest was average to poor. Check in was a little longer than I am used to, with about 20 min stand in line waiting while there was a long line and only 2 workers. The room was dirty, dirty tissue on chair, dirty mirror, dusty furniture… Most of what is shown in advertisement is closed and not operating like the floating games in water, bars, restaurants. The grounds are not monitored and they let kids do whatever they want, it was very annoying having 5 kids in a hot tub jumping around, blowing their nose and splashing. When we finally made it smores night there were no more smores, as they just let people(kids) grab what they want and they do not replenish. Towels were hit or miss, one point we had to wait for over 45 mins for clean beach towels in the AM. Also asked for extra towels for my room and they arrived over 8 hours later with many calls in between. Breakfast buffet was average and the service was poor. We had to ask for service after waiting a while, finally the waitress that kept walking past us took our drink order, and at bill charged us for the drinks (shouldn’t have as it was included for buffet) in between that, did not get our plates to clear our table, more was not offered……

Was disappointed that to park your car they’re charging $25 per day. I think for $55 fee per day should include 1 car.

I love this area . Im bummed out that i paid for tropical view - room on ocean and did not get but otherwise lots of fun and everything is convenient .

First night was a little rough, staff fixed the issue and moved us which was great. The room they moved us to was much nicer than the original room plus fit our family much better. We did buy some of the options that we didn’t get but again staff made up for that after the fact. Not sure I would return wasn’t a fan of the area but hotel for just being open for just over a month, I would say they have recovered awesome.

Hotel is a bit dated but plenty of dining and stores within a walking distance. Beach was nice, water was calm, and amenities made beach days enjoyable.
