This is a historic hotel, lots of stories and perhaps ghosts! Wonderful food, and so convenient to the ferry to Cumberland Island

This is a historic hotel and my husband and I over the years have stayed the night on our way to camp at Cumberland Island. This time friends and I stayed before and after the island trip at the hotel. So we were able to better focus on the hotel. The beds were marvelously comfortable and the dining room and hotel staff were excellent. Thanks!

It's an old fashioned hotel in a historic town. I'm usually just focused on getting to Cumberland island but we spent 2 nights this time at the hotel. The beds were marvelously comfortable and the meals were excellent. The staff were great. Thanks so much!

I love this hotel! The rooms are full of character, the beds are comfy, and everything is very clean. All of the people working there were friendly and helpful and approachable. It’s a super fun place to stay!

a beautiful little town. Almost pristine downtown river walk. Designed to be inviting. AMd this hotel is streams to be inviting! s well. Þhe hotel is like going back in time. with the comfort of grandma house And some of thequirky charm as we)l.

Really just an average property. Room was smaller, above the pub which made it noisey late into the night.
Had dinner at the restaurant. Again just average at best. Had the crab bisque and cajun pasta. The bisque was good but the pasta was drowning in the sauce... the bisque had a thicker consistency. The food was piled up on my table, no timing with the service.
You never know until you try, won't be trying this place again...
