The property is beautiful and so is the location. It hurts me to give a poor review but I have to do so because of the way I was treated upon arriving at the hotel - it was a rude and almost surreal unprofessional check in experience - coupled later with several mishaps in terms of hygiene and safety. In fact, the special “covid-19” hygiene measures are not as advertised in their website. My room had obviously not been vacuumed as I stepped on a piece of glass shard that went right into my foot (the day before a big hike in the mountains), there was also part of an used cleaning sponge left in the bathroom with other people’s hair still on it. The reservation department for this hotel is actually at the Bella Tola Hotel which is a more expensive property and it is clear that the Bella Tola does not treat their sister property with the same care. Bella Tola reservations people ignored my special requests and did not communicate them to this hotel, as if they were not important. It felt that nobody cared at either property. To add injury, there was only one towel, only one single small duvet and a single pillow in the room. felt very “cheap” that they did that, especially as we obviously reserved for two. I arrived at this property happy to spend a couple days in the mountains. Within minutes, they ruined my first night stay. Therefore, I’m unhappy with my experience there. They failed us badly, and turned my precious time off into an ugly thing.

We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful, trendy room and very helpful staff. We left a pair of pants at the hotel by mistake and they were so kind in finding it and mailing it to us at our next destination without charging us - just the best customer service. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was beyond all expectations. We have been there for 2 days hiking weekend. Very friendly staff, breathtaking views from South facing rooms, clean and cosy. The restaurant at the hotel was a very (!!!) positive surprise. The funicular is 10 min walking distance from hotel, takes you to great hiking trails. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Swiss mountain chalet

Great location for hiking in summer and snowshoeing in the winter. You also learn about our solar system thanks to the planets positioned along the walking routes at proportional distances from the sun.

Mountain-side Perch

St. Luc is a lovely village perched on a precipice above a valley. The Chalet Favre is one of the prettiest hotels in town and had a great deck for dining, overlooking the valley and mountains on the other side.
