Our stay was very enjoyable from momrnt we checked in we was treated very politly and nothing was too much trouble.

I’m glad we only stayed for one night.
We were met by a lovely guy who showed us the facilities garden, bar and breakfast room. Very hospitable
However when we walked upstairs to our room everything was extremely dated, carpet very dirty and smelt musty and old.
When we got to our room, it was the same, smelt, no wonder the window was open when we arrived. The carpet was filthy and the bathroom well, it also smelt the Lino wasn’t even fitted or on the floor properly there was a big bubble in the middle. The shower was a complete waste of space, hardly any water came out and when it did it went from cold to absolutely scorching, then very quickly went cold. Wasn’t able to have a shower so washed in the sink
The bed was comfortable but due to how dirty everything else was we were very uncomfortable sleeping in it so slept on top of the bed
We was wary about staying for breakfast but took the plunge, it was good, hot and edible

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The facilities have been refurbished and offers a bar and restaurant with delicious food. It was a lovely quiet stay within walking distance of the gardens in St Leonard’s as well as Hastings and the old town. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
