Stoney Creek Hotel saved the day. We came to St. Joseph, Missouri to see the Mosaic Mural art installation for my grandsons 10th birthday. For reasons unknown to us, the art work was missing the section that my grandson participated in.
After a 5 hour drive across 2 States, we were all tired and cranky. We would have never guessed something like this would happen, and we didn’t have a back up plan.
Thank goodness we chose Stoney Creek for our overnight stay. The heated indoor/outdoor pool came to the rescue. The kids loved this hotel. Beautiful koi ponds and the Big Buffalo in the courtyard made for perfect pictures and the free breakfast the next morning was top notch. The kids enjoyed the pancake machine and the adults loved relaxing by the fireplace. You seriously saved our trip Stoney Creek and staff. We will return soon and hopefully see the completed art installation and look forward to some more fun in the pool.

Comfortable bed and decent breakfast

This property was unique. Tv was the only issue I had. It kept losing its signal and I had to unplug and reset the cable box.

The stay was a nice Sunday getaway for my girlfriend and I.The staff was very welcoming and friendly. My only complaint is that when we booked the hotel we were really looking forward to the pool area. The pool was really cold and the hot tub wasn’t hot, and the water felt really acidic in the hot tub. Luckily we booked a room with a jacuzzi, if we had not, we would have been out of luck. Overall would highly recommend, just hope they get the pool situation figured out.
