Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch. Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions. Kitchen surfaces were dirty on our arrival and there was no hot water or even hot water pipes to the kitchen sink. This property was very handy for lots of beautiful beaches. Need a car from here to travel around.

Thanks for this glowing review, however, this guest did not stay at Caribbean Holiday Apartment. They must have stayed at Caribbean Inn.

There are no facilities at the property. The water is turned off at night so u need bottled water to clean your teeth! There is no restaurant, no bar and no beach at the property as advertised. The air conditioning does not work! The nearest area is a 3mile walk away which is okay during the day but not at night! Falsely advertised more like a hostel!!

Thank you for your perception of our facilities. We explained that the water pressure was suppressed because of the local water company and Antigua occasionally suffers from drought and we have had no rain for awhile. We have NEVER advised that we are on or near a beach. If the air con didn't work, you never took the time to report the matter as all our air conditioner works perfectly. If you were dis-satisfied with the facility - we would have been more than happy to have compensated you in some form or another. We still thank you and we will inform our staff of your comments to make us better able to serve the next set of guest. Regards C.H.A.

There is no beach, no restaurant, no bar. The place is dirty no has no facilities. The location is in the middle of nowhere and the nearest place is a bus ride at night which is 3miles away!!! Very misleading description. No hot water and eater is turned off at night so could not even brush teeth! Staff very helpful

The property isnt in the middle of st. Johns...so its prettt quiet...alot of nice breeze too... Alot of things not to like...we didnt have water in the room most times...we didnt have a comforter...the rubbish stayed in for the duration of the stay...we didnt have clean towels..the same towel was used thru the stay...lack of utensils evven matches for the stove...or things to was the dirty dishes...we had to purchase...the lights didnt work in the room..some outlets had no power...we didnt check in...or never checked in...nor did we check out...we just handed the keys to the property owners son...very very disappointing...we didnt even get a discount for the lack of water for the stay as the money was swiped from our account at 12 noon exactly on the last day...we never saw or spoke to the property owner since the 2nd day...i wont return

Dear guest, We sincerely regret that your stay with us was so disappointing. We thank you for your review, however on your arrival you were informed by both myself and my son that since it was late, we will check you in the following day. On arrival, you were informed that no matter how small your request, my son who lives on property will take care of whatever issues/problems that may arise during your stay. You never made any requests to him. I was on the property all day, however, when I came to your room both parties were out. Later in the afternoon, you informed me that the outlet for upstairs was not working. You were shown that the outlet was in good working order and you were shown that the radio was working. I discovered that the bulb was blown and I immediately replaced it. We apologise for the water issues: however, this is a challenge we face periodically in Antigua because of low rainfall. The local water company either reduces the pressure of the water or they turn it off completely

Home away from home

Generally a clean, comfortable apartment with good working appliances. Very convenient for easy transportation. Just walk 20meters from the building and step into a bus that takes 8-10 min.to the City.

Perfect for weekend, especially if your not looking to spend alot of money. Had a few issues with the water not running 1 night and the internet is spotty, but overall it's a nice spot.

Antigua stopover

Easy access to St. Johns and Darkwood, Nest and Shear Rocks beaches with Jolly Harbour and Epicurean shopping close by. Some good local restaurants in the vicinity.

Did not have Wi-Fi...did not see bar...not sure about other amenities. Room was ok...needs new shower head.

We have now required a brand new internet provider and we are very happy at present with the service. The bar was closed at the time of your visit and they are also undergoing a restricting process. Great Experience and a friendly owner

Pros: The room was clean and the room apartment was welcoming.
Cons: Having a active catering services for guest but the owner accommodate our need to get food etc.
Location: Location is somewhat remote, 20 mins drive from the town and attractions...
While my time in Antigua was short, the service that I received from Caribbean Holiday Apartments was excellent. The owner was always willing provide any requested service or convenience that made my stay their pleasurable.
