"Very nice and well kept property. Staff is friendly and helpful. My only concern is that there was no social activities on the premises. A small diner serving breakfast would be great. A BBQ at the poolside would be nice. An evening of culture with steelband music would be nice"

"This is an excellent property, better than in the pictures. We had a wonderful oceanfront unit. We stayed Dec 13-21, 2024, the week before Christmas. The landscaping and architectural design is outstanding. Would return."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The beach is literally steps away from the property. There are restaurants to the right and left of the property. It was very quiet and well kept. They take care of this property. The staff on the property were very accommodating and helpful. I look forward to coming back again very soon. "

"Management (Mario) was superb in a personal crisis, customer service from restaurant staff and room staff was wonderful. The pool was amazing, as was the WiFi. Food choices were great, it has been a lovely holiday. The niggles: reception staff do not smile and could be officious. The fridge in the room was unstocked the whole time. You are given one tiny bottle of water you are expected to refill throughout the holiday, it was only a mouthful and not adequate when you can’t drink tap and there was nothing to drink at night from the fridge. I ended up getting a plastic 2 litre rum bottle and filling that up, so bring your own bottle/canteen. Plus Expedia advertise the holiday as all taxes included, they are not. $10 per room per night is payable as a tourist tax when you arrive. I knew about the tax prior but believed the marketing. The only reason I would give this hotel a bad review is because I don’t want more people to come here. I have stayed in luxury resorts on the island, this beat them all. The pool and view was amazing, and (most of) the staff so friendly. I would not hesitate to book again. "

"Galley Bay Resort is absolutely gorgeous. It is almost as if you have the beach to yourself. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating we have ever experienced. The food in any of the restaurants is exceptional and the food service is superb. Our room was large and very comfortable right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and has rolling waves that are fun. There are some areas to snorkel off the beach but when we stayed, the waves were keeping the water too cloudy to snorkel. The resort did shuttle us to a calm bay where we were able to snorkel a bit. Not the best snorkeling we have experienced, but we took a 4-hour sail and snorkel trip with Captain Sean which was fantastic. But there are many other activities available: the pool with a waterfall is relaxing and there are water sports offered such as sailing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Tennis, volleyball, ping pong, a pool table, bicycling, and croquet are also offered as is a daily yoga class. The resort caters to adults only and there is a relaxed and mature feel to the place. We met many other couples and made friends easily. If you are seeking a beautiful place to completely relax with a touch of elegance, this is your resort!"

"What’s not to like about Blue Waters??? My second trip and won’t be my last. Upgrade to a Cove Suite if you can. Beautiful interior design and spacious with a balcony or patio overlooking the sea. “Private” pool for the villa - 6 suites and a penthouse per villa. Not every suite was occupied so often had pool to myself. Three other beautiful pools on property for all guests. The beach is small but lovely. No issue getting chairs and umbrellas. Food is excellent (get the all inclusive, it’s worth it) especially at dinner. Delicious and lovely presentation. Staff is amazing!! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about them! Spa is wonderful - had a great massage. Resort is quiet. Had an amazing singer one night and a piano player another. Not a lot of entertainment like larger resorts but I go to relax. Highly recommend. "
