Unfortunately the pool was so warm that it was unusable. There were some ants in our room. No daily room service was a surprise. Not as convenient to walk to town as other stays. Had complementary wash and dry. Very nice view from patio.

The staff was wonderful; the rooms were very clean and had a lovely view. Going to sleep to the sound of waves was amazing! We would definitely stay again. The only minor con was that the walls seemed kind of thin—could hear neighbors a lot.

Delightful stay!

Disappointed
Posted 20 Feb 2024 on HotelsNice people but the location and the photos are very deceiving. Unfortunately the water was completely flooded with Sargassum so we couldn’t walk down, then the pool was dirty from the time we arrived, never being cleaned while we were there.
The walls are paper thin and we literally heard every conversation of our loud neighbors.
It’s also at a dead end with a jungle path and steep hills for the walk to town.
Sadly it says remodeled, but the fridge is rusty and the room is just OK.

HI Tammy,Thanks for sharing your review. We are so sorry you were not happy with your accommodations! You were here shortly after a strange weather pattern we had with lots of wind and rain and we had Sargassum come into our bay, which does happen on occasion. We do clean our pool on a regular basis. Many guest enjoy the "nature trail" that is a nice short cut to Cruz Bay and there is one area with a hill, but it is a short 10 minute walk. Hopefully, you can enjoy your next vacation somewhere more suiting to your tastes, but are pictures are accurate of our rooms. We are a budget friendly modest accommodation, with a rare (for St John) ocean side view from all rooms.

Had an amazing time staying at coconut coast villas. You get an amazing view, kitchen with appliances if you guy groceries, stove, refrigerator, tv and WiFi. Staff is excellent on communication. You also get free access to laundry which is wonderful. The villas are about 12 minutes out from downtown St. John which makes it really walkable if you want to go out and explore or get groceries. There are some steep parts of the walk to and from the villas but if you walk the right way, it shouldn’t be bad. Overall great property to stay at for a great price.

Great experience

Perfectly equipped for a stay with just what you need in the kitchen and the coldest freezer (weirdly important here!) bring your walking shoes for the steep hill. Service and communication was absolutely perfect! Great place to be if you rent a car, but you also don’t need to!

The location was perfect. It was convenient to the stores. It was a 10 minute walk for groceries. The unit was clean and management was very helpful. I would highly recommend Coconut Coast Villas

Great location for access to Cruz Bay, Great Views, we had a resident peacocked that everybody called buddy that would greet us at our door every morning.
