"Pleasant accommodation close to university, with cooking facilities Accommodation was clean , warm and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue is no on site parking but parking in nearby streets is possible (payable and maximum 5 hours) with a larger NCP car park within 5 minutes walk Would stay there again and would recommend for a short stay. "We had a great stay. The only thing we found a little difficult was trying to find the building within the complex as there are so many. Otherwise parking was close by, good selection of shops and places to eat near by. It’s a very quiet area."

"The place was great and spacious. Steven was very helpful and friendly. It is a walking distance from Cardiff Castle and Bute park. No too far from Cardiff Bay, driving. Great place to stay in Cardiff. "

"A lovely place to stay! Our cottage was perfect, good size and beautifully decorated. Such a peaceful place, easy to get into Cardiff centre. My daughter left her teddy behind and the staff were so helpful, they packaged him up ready for a courier to collect and let me know when he was collected. "

"We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return. "

"We generally enjoyed our stay. The apartment is directly across from the stadium and a rugby stadium and so just be aware if there are events taking place. Otherwise it’s a rather quiet area right on the river. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to food including groceries. The train station is about 10 minutes as well. Overall good! "Great situation for Sports venues, pubs & restaurants. Lovely old style hotel & very comfortable bed resulting in a brilliant sleep. As suggested to manager a large shower mat should be provided as bath seemed really slippery & I was very wary getting in & out due to a bad ankle. Lighting was also quite poor over this area although Shower itself was beautiful & hot. Breakfast was delicious & hot also. If resolved the shower points it's 10/10 every time."

"Great location , close to castle & shops . Hotel is immaculate in cleanliness. Staff were friendly and polite. Our room was a standard double but had everything we needed . Lovely big, comfy bed so we both had a good nights sleep . Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return . "
