"This is a hotel outside the city of Pula. Easy check-in, friendly staff, free parking, very good breakfast. Room is a little small and bathroom fixtures are odd, shower in particular. Water drains toward the door and runs out into the bathroom. There is no place to put soap or shampoo in the shower. "

"Very outdated rooms, and there was an extremely loud concert directly under the building until 11pm so was difficult to get proper rest. Rusty hairdryer and bathroom appliances, desk chair had stains. The "bed" was two small beds put together so was not comfortable to sleep. Not sure why this place has good reviews but maybe it was just my room...in addition the manager knocked on my door at 9:30 pm demanding 100 euros for the driver they arranged to take me to the hospital when I had an ear...

"I’ve never stayed in a national park with a hotel and I’ve visited three in Croatia. They allow me early check end, which I really appreciate it. Also enjoyed the amenities. I used the golf course and also used a golf cart to view the sites the first day and the second day I walked for seven hours around the perimeter and revisited the Roman villa ruins, which was exceptional. The breakfast was very good."

"Hotel Scaletta is in a great location, about 3 minutes walk from the amphitheatre and start of the historic city. Parking is a few minutes walk away so its best to drop your bags first. Check in was fabulous, very helpful and friendly and even showed me a video of how to get to the parking after I parked in the wrong place. "Our apartment was on the first floor of the property which was fine. There was an area outside with loungers and tables to sit on. However this area is also the car park for the hotel so once all the cars are parked it didn’t leave a very big area to sit in.
