Property is very nice. Rooms are well appointed. Excellent quality sheets and towels. Breakfast was over the top. The chief is outstanding.

Thank you for 4 out of 5 rating. I'm sorry you missed our guest pantry which is right on the 1st floor and accessible 24-hours. It always has complimentary iced tea, lemonade and water in the refrigerator plus Keurig coffee machine and large selection of tea bags. It also has a microwave and ice machine.

Website was misleading. The room was smaller than described. It was renovated at some time but the door was an old wooden one with an old doorknob and no safety latch. Most rooms are up an incredibly long, steep staircase and hard to navigate. Off property parking over 2 blocks away. Not conducive for seniors.

One of the charming features of this 1865 inn is its historic details hence, the old wooden door and hardware. We have four guest rooms on our 1st floor which we would have been happy to move you to if we were aware of your concern for the staircase - which has standard and to code steps, width and length. Our parking lot is a block away - approximately two- to three-minute walk. We are always available to valet any guest car.I promise your next trip we'll have a lovely 1st floor room for you. This property is so beautiful and close to the city. We could walk everywhere we wanted. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating for me and my 8 year old. I really appreciated their help especially at breakfast finding options for my picky eater to enjoy! Our balcony was awesome and we really enjoyed the pool!

Wonderful location in the old town and beautiful decor. Difficult for us older folks because there’s no elevator, but very accommodating helping us get our luggage up the stairs!

I so wish our building wasn't 160 years old and had room for an elevator. Thankfully, we have 4 rooms on our first floor and staff to assist with luggage. We look forward to seeing you again, on the 1st floor :)

The Kenwood Inn lived up to every expectation I had as an 1800's style property. The balcony off the suite was my very favorite aspect. We could sit and listen to the horse drawn carriage tours talk of the Inn and its supposed ghost. The morning sunrise was glorious over the bay. Our hosts were as helpful as they could be. But, the 3 course breakfasts were beyond belief. Applause to Exec. Chef Adam. Will stay again of that there is no doubt.
