I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at Hampton inn St. Augustine hotel. I reserved a room for 5 people from the same family, but upon arrival, we were given a room that only had space for 4 people.
We attempted to resolve the issue by requesting a more suitable room. Despite changing rooms three times, no proper accommodation for 5 people was provided. Instead, the final “solution” offered was a mattress on the floor, which is unacceptable and not in line with the standard we expected.
The next day, we raised the issue with the person in charge, but no action was taken to address the inconvenience caused. Furthermore, we were not offered any form of compensation, and the staff placed the blame Expedia, which I find unprofessional and unhelpful.
This experience caused significant inconvenience and frustration during our stay.
