I recently stayed at your location in St Augustine Beach and have mixed feedback about my visit. The facility was great, but my issues are about to aspects of my stay.
First, you force everyone into valet service, which costs $40 plus tax per day ($80 plus tax total) with no option for self-park. As a result, I needed to bring several personal items into my hotel room because I could not leave them in my car if unknown people are going to have access to my vehicle. When I suggested to the front desk about providing a "self-park option" the employee VERY rudely stated that I was calling his valets not trustworthy. I NEVER made that implication or statement, but I should have every right to my personal belongings being secure. They are not secure if someone other than myself has access to them in my car. I pointed out that his comment was baseless and rude, and he snickered that he doesn’t really care.
Additionally, we paid over $600 for our room for 2 nights. After waiting several hours to be able to check-in, we received a room that was right near the common property of the hotel outside the main lobby. The first night was stayed I tried to open my sliding door, and there were literally people sitting on what should be the "patio" for my room, within 3 feet of my door. There is no barrier stopping people from sitting in that space, which should be part my room!
