TV didn't work properly. Room phone was broken. Heater was broken. No food except vending machines. Everything was cheap and cheesy even by the standards of budget hotels. Lousy

Yesterday there was an entire construction crew at this facility. I was not informed of any construction prior to booking or when checking in.
Needless to say, is was extremely noisy. Even more so since the rooms above me were the ones being worked on. Aside from the usual construction noise of power tools, heavy boots, and yelling; they placed a dumpster directly in front of my door and threw materials and furniture into it from the second floor. Each time that happened the noise was unbearable.
Later that evening, the roof in my room sprung a leak. Not just a leak, but several leaks. Water started pouring out of the bathroom fan, pouring out of the air filter in the hallway and also came pouring out of four points in the ceiling around the filter.
As you can imagine the mess was enormous. It flooded almost half of the room got everything wet; all of our clothes, shoes, my dog's beds their blankets, ruined some vape pens and a couple cell phones and just damaged a lot of things. I was put into a different room which was good. However, it's going to take me two days, at least, to rewash everything, dry everything that I can't put inside the dryer and that's two days off my vacation.
