There were problems with the toilet and the phone, but the only solution offered was to switch rooms. That was not an option because we were settled in. There were people smoking pot outside the hotel when we arrived. The free breakfast was a joke, pre-packaged muffins, and instant oatmeal.. that was it.

Not clean, dirty sheets on bed, were not cleaned after the previous guest left. TV screen and stand had spots of some liquid that got hardened and never cleaned. Only good thing is the proximity to the metro station, and free parking.

The stairwells smelled like urine from humans and dogs. No cleaning service was provided during my stay. People were running down the hallways like 2-3 am and fighting. There was only one staff member who always greeted and was friendly, an older Caucasian lady. Fire alarms occurred twice forcing me to evacuate the building.

Room looks nothing like the picture. Elevator doesn’t work. TV remote didn’t work. Free breakfast was prepackaged muffins and not good coffee. I heard they usually had instant oatmeal but there was none. Dirty. I feel like all of the 10/10 ratings were bots or Extended Stay America employees. Don’t stay here.

The room is nothing like the pictures. Bare floor, uncomfortable bed. TV remote didn’t work. The picture shows a decent chair but it doesn’t exist. The only one was an uncomfortable desk chair. The stairwells can give you a contact buzz from the pervasive aroma of marijuana. I became familiar with the stairwells as the elevator was out of order. I was on the second floor but I witnessed the clueless front desk attendant assign a man and his expectant wife a 5th floor room. The free breakfast was packaged muffins and not so good coffee. I wanted to go somewhere else but they wouldn’t refund my payment. I will never stay here again.
