"This resort looked and felt like a cozy resort. I stayed in the winter & the natural wood structures and high beam ceilings are nice in the lobby. The inside is very large & there are a lot of things to do. The hot tub is a long oval shape so it fits many ppl spaciously. There's a small gameroom, tables w/ boardgames, a small movie theatre room (all free). There was great live music playing in the lounge which can be heard in the lobby during by the fire. "The property is beautiful and has a lot to offer in the way of food, entertainment and activities; however, they need to work on their housekeeping and general cleanliness in the rooms and bathrooms. It is a large property and perhaps they need more staff but for the price you pay, you shouldn't see things like hair on the bed, towels, water marks on glasses, dust and hair on the furniture, empty shower gel in the bathroom, etc. "

"This resort looked and felt like a cozy resort. I stayed in the winter & the natural wood structures and high beam ceilings are nice in the lobby. The inside is very large & there are a lot of things to do. The hot tub is a long oval shape so it fits many ppl spaciously. There's a small gameroom, tables w/ boardgames, a small movie theatre room (all free). There was great live music playing in the lounge which can be heard in the lobby during by the fire. The piano player & sax/flute player set a great vibe. The only downside was that the day spa's hot tub was broken again so we chose not to do the spa however i wish we couldve bc their spa is actually very very nice. The room was clean and remodeled. Good size and the bed/pillows were VERY comfortable. There were guests hanging out on nooks with couches & tables having a good time. The restaurants liked nice fm the outside. In the morning there is a coffee cafe. I would recommend The Abbey. "

Great and so massively expensive

"It was so fun. The beds are like a bad joke. They are incredibly bad! But otherwise the place is perfect for a get away with little kids. Our room has a kids room in IT and or daughters were in heaven. We were particularly helped by: Asher H., Avery, Brendan and Omar. Such lovely staff. The biggest demerit is they started charging for parking when there’s no other way to get there. It’s such a clear cash grab when it’s already a kiddie casino. "

"The carpet was worn and stained. The curtains were stained. The furniture was worn and damaged. The fireplace only stays on for 10 minutes before it turns off and has to be turned back on. One of the bathroom fans is as loud as a truck engine."

"Everyone was incredibly nice! Our waitress was the same girl both times and she was terrific. We also really enjoyed bingo with “B”. She was a blast!"

"This was a great stay! The decor was nice and cozy. There were nice sitting areas around the lobby. There is a restaurant on the premises. The indoor pool is small, but a nice option during the cooler seasons. The room nice amenities, microwave, fridge and a bar sink. The beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel was very quiet and we appreciated the quiet hours rules. This loction was right in the middle of the action and the water view as spectacular. "
