This first of all was a “room” and very small one at that. It’s couple floors in a residential building they converted and divided up to very small rooms. We had to walk up 4 floors of stairs. I had to book this last minute, therefore picked a basic room. There was barely enough room to walk, literally! With our carry ons on the floor, we had to use the bed to move from one side to the other. it was impossible. It was super clean and perfect location. Staff was real nice and very responsive. However I’d still pick another place for the money, better yet a real hotel!

Nice spot - right adjacent to the center/old town

Be aware - rooms are on the 3rd and 4th floor.. Having said that it is so good for you .. last day I practically ran up and down Now the host - Eva - was wonderful and took very good care of us - very flexible on the check out time - mighty appreciated The room was somewhat small we needed some room for our big luggage- but you can book them larger than the one we booked. Bed was hard but good anyway queen size Europe is not queen size US Location is perfect - just outside the beaten path of the old town and the center. Next time I will book a larger room

Apartments don't have room service and despite the itinerary telling me breakfast was at a nearby hotel, the vendor has not offered this service for 2 years, so no breakfast. Felt like an inconvenience for the host person, clearly always chasing me via WhatsApp to be of the least inconvenience to themselves. Oh did I mention 98 steps and no lift? Good job I am not over 60! TV in room, didn't work. No clean towels, bin emptied or bed made for four days. Good job I didn't stay any longer. Split fabulous, appartment not excepting location.

Dear Paul, thank you for your review. You booked a room only and not room with breakfast. Also our description clearly says that rooms are located on upper floors in a building without an elevator. We do not offer daily cleaning and we never put that we do. Also, we are always available on whatsup so you could ask for new towels and also inform us about tv. Really friendly staff. Great location, and also nice and clean. Our room was perhaps a tad too small for our storage and getting to the side of the bed, but it served it's purpose and was also very nice and cool with the aircon. Needs a lift but the stairs kept our cardio up. =) Would definetely recommend and stay again!

Dear guest, thank you very much for your review, and that you noticed how the housekeeping is doing its job very well, judging from the description you were probably in one of the 3 Standard rooms (not the others that are Deluxe) which are a bit smaller, but they are respectively also reduced in cost. We are also planning to install the elevator so we do hope in the future it will be a better fit for the guests that those stairs are too little much of the cardio to get up, maybe on your next stay it will already be installed. :) Kind regards, Metropole Luxury Rooms staff

We liked it very much, staff was very friendly, rooms clean, there are some stairs to get to the rooms, but 3 floors without elevator wasnt an issue with this. There was payed parking off site, just across the street. Very convenient location, the farthest you can go with your car inside of historic centre from the north side.
