It has a great view and is quiet. It is up a steep hill so you would want to have a car.

Posted 19 Dec 2019 on HotelsWe loved staying at Grand View Guesthouse, big space and comfortable furnishing, the view of course is unbeatable - we enjoyed breakfast and late night relaxation on the balcony overlooking Speyside bay. If you rent a vehicle for your trip, this option is a must for staying in Speyside/Charlottesville

Calling ahead is appreciated. We forgot to and arrived around 9pm. Even then, someone showed up with keys and made our stay quite easy. We'd recommend it to anyone. Also, the views of the bay are stunning.

Posted 29 Oct 2017 on HotelsFantastic appartment. Ann and Max were very friendly and helpful, responding very quickly to a query regarding our hot water (turns out it was our error)!
Great views, you will need a car for this location, it's also very a quiet area.
Would recommend. We stayed for two nights and went to the beach at Charlotteville - just 10 minutes away by car.
