Easy check-in. Owners were welcoming and helpful. They gave us many suggestions for hiking and things to see and do on the eastern side of the island and gave us an understanding of Newfoundland history. Breakfast had some fabulous choices and always cooked to our specifications. The home is a historic site and, as such, has windows that do not close out the road noise but that is easily forgotten with an earplug or the white noise of a fan. Would highly recommend.

Not happy that you are fabricating information regarding our heritage home. You and your husband left us with the impression you were quite happy with your stay and then reviewed us at 60%. We could within our right said no smoking on the property at all, instead we provided you with front covered porch access (seating for two only and private), we offered side yard seating to smoke (seating for two only and private) and your room was completely private with a seating area. The only area of the property that was restricted to smoking were public places that are not private. Disappointing you felt the need to make false statements and sorry you felt you had to do that.

It was a beautiful heritage house with great character. Greg and Lorraine were perfect hosts sharing stories about the area and Newfoundland history. Breakfast was very good and they even made a special dinner with local ingredients that was outstanding.
The beds were super comfortable.
Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful character home and friendly hosts with very helpful advice for local sights and hikes! Would go back in a heartbeat.

Very friendly hosts. Clean and convenient to amenities. Beautiful historic home well-maintained. Good value for the cost.
