"The Acro & Polis was absolutely the key to us having the most incredible vacation while in Athens. The rooftop patio offers breathtaking views of the Acropolis as well as the surrounding area full of shops and restaurants. "Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful including the cleaning lady who tidied the room daily. I appreciated the comfortable bed, large balcony and mini fridge. I enjoyed the traditional greek style breakfast, but it was pretty basic. There is a functional elevator for the building. We never heard our neighbors in adjacent rooms but we could hear noise from outside. There was some construction when we first arrived but luckily it only lasted for 2 days. "I did not like the locking system, When pushing to exit the house, it may take up to 3x to get the door to unlock. If there was a fire and you you can't get out fast, you'll be in trouble. It's a huge safety issue that needs to be addressed. "

"Close to the metro station and coffee shops. It is a renovated building with a gym, laundry and an elevator. We enjoyed the balcony. Apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for 5-6 people. We have enjoyed our stay. Easy check in and check out, as well. "

"We had a great stay. The only thing was there was a lot stairs we had to carry our suit cases to three flight of stairs before you get to an elevator that fits one person. The services was great.. we had great communication and everyone there was very helpful even with our luggage."

The location is great for the marina and I’d pay the extra for a premium apartment as the basic one is very basic! "The hotel was very charming, and in an excellent location for access to shopping and restaurants. We got to know the owner a little, and she was very welcoming. There is a stunning view of the Acropolis from the breakfast room. We would definitely go back to AD if we visit Athens again. "

"I really enjoyed my time in one of the top suites. The views were incredible and I was able to find a really great price thanks to expedia. The staff made me feel very welcome and had a friendly answer to any question I had. I was also given a better deal on another room as I needed a place to crash for about half a day after my initial stay and that was very much appreciated since I didn't stay the whole night. Coming back here for the vibes and friendly folk"
