"A Fun Family Getaway with a Few Drawbacks Great Wolf Lodge is the next best thing to Disney! The location is excellent—safe, accessible, and surrounded by lots of dining options. The waterpark is a bit smaller than expected but still a hit with the kids. One downside: the water wasn’t at the advertised 84°F, so it felt cold at times. We visited during 4th of July week, and it was very crowded. Be patient during check-in. We had an issue with our reservation, but a friendly staff member named Thais helped us quickly. Parking is tough. It’s often full, so finding a spot can be frustrating. Also, day pass holders have the same access as hotel guests. It would be nice if overnight guests had early entry or other perks. Food is pricey, and the breakfast buffet (about $28/person) wasn’t great. We ended up eating out or in the room most of the time. Tip: Arrive early on check-in day. You can use the waterpark and other amenities before your room is ready—we didn’t know and lost out on that first day. Overall, it’s a fun, memorable experience for families, as long as you plan ahead and manage expectations."

"The motel itself looks like "row" cabanas (all together) in bright colors and feels very tropical and beachy. The room was on the small side but sufficient for a short stay. A quick walk up a short path and you are on the beach! There ARE particular rules about where you can put your things, if you don't rent them there. There's some decent shelling, not quite like Sanibel Island. While there, I saw a manatee swim along side of paddleboarders through the beautiful clear waters. The prettiest beaches in the US are surely over in that area (Clearwater is beautiful too). I would stay again for a short stay. It's a nice resort."

"Amazing view, beautifully updated room. No microwave and very small fridge. The food downstairs can be expensive, but overall it is a nice place. The pool is very relaxing and the resort is worth the price."

"After several days in Naples for a football camp, we headed to Margaritaville to be on the water and take in the beautiful energy of the resort. Francisco at the front desk was beyond accommodating and we can't thank him enough for helping us find the perfect room. Laredo by the pool was incredible and took care of us as we basked in the sun in our short time there. GREAT energy and so much fun. Literally across the street from tasty restaurants and the beautiful beach. Didn't like that Rance, the bartender by the pool, was bossy toward my wife /son about ordering food there vs with our man Laredo. But we didn't allow that to ruin our stay. Spent the evening hanging on the deck by the "fireplaces." Great memories. HIGHLY recommend to anyone staying in the area. "

"I loved how clean and quiet this place is. Being a small building complex helps control the amount of people. The beaches are beautiful. Love how pet friendly it is, but also keep all the rooms neat and clean and not smelling like animals. "
