Lovely old school converted into a boutique hotel.
All Indian in style, including the all staff! Room was lovely, nice bar, though very expensive outside of happy hour. The dining room is huge, quite impressive place to eat.
Dinner was next level Indian cuisine. The lamb shank was excellent.
In all very good value for the price we paid. Will return.

The Lalit is so beautiful, and the service was EXCELLENT. I was delayed getting to check in and had theater tickets and didn’t think I could possibly get to eat dinner and get to the theater on time, but the on-site restaurant let my guest pre-order our meal, kept it warm until I arrived, allowed me to eat and then check in, and wrapped leftovers and delivered them to my room. I made it to the theater just in time, and my room was immaculately clean and luxuriously spacious. The location is excellent- near lots of great food at all price brackets, next door to a breathtaking view of Tower Bridge, and easily walkable from the tube. I can’t believe the Lalit is so underpriced- truly a gem!
