Southern Ontario hotel rooms a the Independent

"Ended up staying here after having to leave another extremely unsafe hotel - and thank goodness we did. We spoke to a lady named Rose on the phone, explained our situation and she ensured we were set up when we got there with the front desk. The gentleman at the front, Roy - was an absolute sweetheart and after hearing the horrors we went through he provided us with free upgrades and a few perks so he ensured our stay was nothing like the last place. An hour after we checked in, we heard the phone ring only for it to be Roy ensuring the room was up to our standards, clean, and we felt safe here - it was the sweetest gesture ever. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and spotless - it screams luxury. 10/10 would stay again, the staff are lovely, everything is so close to walking distance or shirt uber. It wasn’t too expensive compared to some and had a pool and everything we didn’t even get to try because there was so much to do!"
