"The staff is wonderful, kind, and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. The second room we got was nice and big and the bathroom had hot water. However, the first bedroom had no hot water and the second bedroom had outside dogs barking all night long. People who have pets in the neighborhood should be considerate and keep their pet dogs indoors so neighbors are able to sleep during the night."

"Very quirky/alternate accommodation. Staff were excellent. The room and ensuite were spacious. The breakfast was very good and you can have basic vegetarian meals which is mainly pizza. We had pizza which was excellent, however the menu is very limited and does not include any salads which seems strange as it is vegetarian. Smalland cozy hotel with some lovely sitting areas."

"When I arrived the woman said there was no reservation for me, that they were full and that they do not have an agreement with Expedia. I could find no other place to stay that night. It’s unclear to me if this issue is with Portal Austral or Expedia. Lame! "

To start with, as I was booking, all the information including photos indicated a room with a view to the river.....not only did we NOT get a view to the river, our bedroom window on the ground floor (right next to the office of the concierge/front desk) had a view to a filthy storage area that had the exit air tube of the dryer machine hit directly to our window. "The Lodge/B&B is very well run by a semi-retired couple. Our room was small but there are 2 comfortable common spaces for guests.Breakfast was the best I have had in Chile as it includes homemade breads and jams and fresh juice. The yard has many apple trees, and backs onto a small beautiful river. There is a sauna, hammocks and lounge chairs so you can relax outside. The Lodge is only a couple of kilometers from the hot springs 'Termas Del Sol' which is very impressive. A few kilometers...

"The thermal pool naturally heated by geothermal activity that they had right on the small river flowing through the property was simply unique. It was so tranquil just to watch the river flow by & watch all the wildlife there, especially birds hunting fish. Since it was accessible 24/7, you could sit in the pool at night & stargaze with no lights to limit your view."

"The building is very charming and the grounds are lovely. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the food was good. That being said, the pictures and description are a little misleading. The hotel is not on the shore of Lake Llanquehue. It has a large pond that it borders (as shown in the picture for the hotel). Although the pond was nice and included a rowboat which guests can use at anytime, there were hundreds of very noisy birds, detracting from what could be a very tranquil experience....

"Great stay in the middle of the forest. We stayed on a cabin the first night and in a dome the second night and really enjoyed it. The accomodation was clean, quiet and overall great to relax and connect with natute. The hotel prepared for us a tinaja-grrat experimve taking bath under the stars. We also enjoyed massage that is available by request. "
