Staff waited late (midnight) for us to check in, leaving front door open, which was much appreciated. Check in was quick and convenient.
Some noisy people in the hallway, not the hotels fault but the door wasn't particularly sound proof.
Nice sized room, area doesn't have much around it but it's convenient for the train station or getting to town/harbour. 20 minutes from hotel door to the airport via a train.

Close to train station, and bus station

If you want a good nights sleep I would not recommend the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything so it is not soundproof at all. But if you have a conference there maybe try the ibis across the road but for dining the food was lovely, breakfast as well and the staff very helpful and lovely.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Enjoyed a swim but pool is small so don’t be disappointed if you are a pro swimmer fine for me dawdling up and down with it to myself. Lovely sauna. Breakfast is a bit expensive so didn’t bother with that. Bed was comfy and warm.

Stayed at this hotel for one night pre cruise and it was wonderful. Clean, quiet, staff was friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

We only stayed one night as we were going on a cruise the following morning so didn’t have much chance to experience much of the hotel, we have stayed at other hotels in the area previously and this one is by far the best
And we will look to stay here again next time we travel and hopefully we can spend a little more time
