Lovely room in a grand, traditional house. Ka Anthi was a kind and solicitous hostess who took beautiful care of us. Nice breakfast!

Character and comfort
Posted 5 Oct 2020 on HotelsThis was the second time we stayed at Santikos Mansion. It's a lovely old house but in very good condition. It has great character - the rooms are quaint but comfortable. The only slight disadvantage is that you can't leave your car very near the hotel as there is only a footpath leading up to it. This wasn't a problem for us, though, as we didn't have much luggage. The breakfast is amazing - freshly squeezed apple juice, wonderful homemade jams and cakes all served on exquisite crockery.

A hidden gem.
Posted 30 Sep 2019 on HotelsBeautiful traditional house. The room was cosy but very clean. The bed was very comfortable with excellent-quality bed linen. Lovely hot, powerful shower, nice fluffy towels and bathrobes and natural olive-based shampoo and showergel. As for the breakfast - freshly-squeezed apple juice follwed by a range of cakes, pastries, fresh bread and homemade jams! The only slight problem was that we couldn't find it very easily when we first arrived.

Pros: Real village atmosphere at higherst comfort.
Cons: Access.
Location: Velos is not far and highly recommended.
If you want to experience a day in a rural village, at a very luxury hotel, this is the place. Very comfortable rooms with unique decoration and outstanding comfort of the beds.
The only drawback is the access, that is about 150 meters and 20 m higher than the parking lot. So pack what you need for the night, and climb it. It has no elevator and one must climb about 15 steps every time.
