We stayed at this property for two nights in July 2024. Tahoe had been experiencing a heat wave, so I wanted to cancel a week before arriving. Karen (the owner) made it clear that wasn't allowed. This property doesn't have air conditioning and is very old and dated. In our particular townhouse the sink in the bathroom didn't drain well, upstairs floor is very noisy when walked on, rooms did get very warm and uncomfortable despite the 70 degree weather. The street noise was annoying as big trucks would pass by (we think from construction up the road). Floors, towels and bed sheets were clean.
The bedrooms had outlets that didn't work and very few wall decorations (one room had none and the closet door had been removed).
The pool was okay. Open both days we were there. Hot tub was closed one day. The gym is by appointment only and had few equipment.
I was not impressed by management or this property. They are not accommodating and are firm on no cancellations or refunds.

Hi Jessica.Thanks for taking the time to write.Unfortunately, your review leaves us wondering what we missed.Your conversation with our team (a few days before your arrival date) and your request to cancel your non-refundable reservation (due to the higher temperatures expected in Lake Tahoe that week); we believe our offers were generous. We offered a gift certificate for a stay at a later date and that we would still honor the discounted rate you originally committed to. You advised you did not think it was a nonrefundable booking and asked us to send proof, which we did though your vendor Expedia, and you thanked us. However, you declined our offer. At that point and in another effort to assist you, we offered our best attempt (at the last minute) to book the same space you held for 60 days as a compromise and promise to you; that if we were successful, we would refund you in full – without penalty. You agreed and your reply to us was kind and considerate, see below. “Hi Karen, Yes, that's what we agreed upon. I will be on the lookout for communication from you if the space has gone to someone else and notify Expedia right away for a full refund. If by Thursday 7/11, you have rented out, we will take the space from 7/14-7/16. Thank you!”Please know, we thrive on guest satisfaction. Rest assured; we will take immediate action to address the items of concern noted in your email. Our only regret is not being given the opportunity to assist you with anything you found to be less than desirable accommodations, during your stay. Thank you again for taking the time. Old townhouses but location is very good
Posted 8 Mar 2021 on HotelsThe communication with the property is very good. Linens are clean and beds are comfortable
However, The property has an old cabin smell. Carpet has dirty stain especially on the first floor. This place needs updating.
The location is very good even if you don’t ski or snowboard. It’s a 7 minute drive to the casinos and Heavenly gondola.

Property was clean and orderly. Very quiet and peaceful location. Feels like a house, not a hotel.

We had a great experience staying at Heavenly Valley Townhouses. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 7. Would definitely stay again

This place was very comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked and made me feel at home. The TV offered NETFLIX, iHeart Radio and even DISNEY PLUS!!!!! Its about a 4 minute drive to downtown and very quiet at night. Its more of a home feeling versus the busy casino loud crowded scene. Will definently be back again!!

Comfortable stay
Posted 11 Feb 2020 on HotelsThe townhouse was comfortable and conveniently located. It is close to plenty of ski resorts which was a huge win for us. The house was clean. The only flip side is 10 am checkout.
